There was little that would dampen Sunderland spirits this summer after the Black Cats sealed promotion back to the Premier League after eight seasons away. Regis Le Bris' side came from behind at Wembley Stadium to tee up what would be a memorable summer.

If there was one downside, it would have to be the departure of Jobe Bellingham, after a brilliant performance under the Wembley arch. Of course, it was a move that made sense for all parties involved and allowed Sunderland to attack the transfer window, while very few predicted it to have as big an impact as it did.

Not one fan on Wearside holds any grudges or an ill-feeling toward the young midfielder, but there will always be questions about how well he'd fare in the Premier League. Jobe made it clear during his time at Sunderland that he wanted to forge his own career and prove that he was more than just the younger brother of Jude.
