It has been a disastrous season for Tottenham this time around. There is no hiding from the fact that the Lilywhites have gone through the trenches in recent months. Very few positives have emerged from the club’s decision to part ways with Ange Postecoglou and appoint Thomas Frank as his successor last summer. The team has only regressed since their Europa League success, and it now appears that the North Londoners could find themselves playing in the second division next season.

Spurs have, quite remarkably, changed their manager thrice already since the start of the season. They parted ways with Thomas Frank midway through the campaign after the Danish tactician ran out of ideas to get the best out of the players in the Premier League. Igor Tudor, Frank’s interim replacement, was then dismissed just 44 days after his appointment, having failed to steady the ship at N17. The Lilywhites appear to be in turmoil, and the situation does not seem to be improving anytime soon.
