West Ham United are vying to stay in the Premier League this season. Nuno Espirito Santo oversaw the club spending significantly in January as he looked to turn the Hammers around. The additions of the likes of Valentin Castellanos and Pablo Felipe have helped the team to be just a point from safety.

With additions comes players who fall down the pecking order. Callum Wilson, who joined the club last summer, was on of the players tipped to leave in the winter window.

However, the 34-year-old would remain at West Ham. In the same month Wilson scored the winner against Tottenham Hotspur, the biggest and most memorable moment of his Hammers career.

Reports in the following month even suggested that the striker was set to be offered a new one-year-deal with the Iron’s league position in peril.

Now, according to The Athletic, Wilson is unlikely to stay at the club when the season comes to a close. This is regardless of whether or not Nuno’s team remain in the Premier League.
