Mohamed Salah's time at Liverpool is nearing an end, but where he will go next remains uncertain. However, clubs in the Saudi Pro League are claimed to be stepping up their interest once again.

That's according to TEAMtalk, who are reporting that fresh talks have taken place in recent weeks, with Saudi chiefs said to be pushing ahead with a deal structure that has effectively 'been in place since last year. Liverpool had previously rejected an approach from Al-Ittihad during the 2023 transfer window.

The Saudi champions made a verbal offer worth around £150million to the Anfield hierarchy.

Before signing his new deal at Anfield in 2025, Salah seriously weighed up the possibility of leaving Liverpool before ultimately committing his future to the club.

With an exit now confirmed, the report adds that his representatives have been assured he will have the freedom to choose his preferred destination within the Pro League.
