With no game last Saturday due to the international break, Wild has enjoyed more time on the training ground with his players while those on the treatment table have enhanced their chances of playing.

Wild has also re-signed midfielder Ryan Watson on a short-term contract adding to the numbers he has to choose from as Tranmere face a nervy end to the season.

"I've always been a big fan of Ryan's across the years," said Wild. "I think he's got something that we haven't got in midfield. He brings a presence and athleticism in midfield that we feel that we've been missing.

"In the free market, there's not a lot going on, is there? So to be able to pick up Kane (Woolery) and now Ryan in the free market, I think it's absolutely brilliant and helps the squad and hopefully helps us get over the line."

Wild will also welcome back Zecho Bierro, Stephan Negru and Ethan Bristow from international duty with all three in contention for the Easter weekend games.
