Stoppage-time goals from Taylor Richards and Tobi Adeyemo earned relegation-threatened Crawley their first league win in 11 games in Colin Kazim-Richards' first match in charge as they beat Gillingham 2-0 at Broadfield Stadium.

The contest appeared to be heading towards a goalless draw when substitute Taylor and Adeyemo scored in the first three minutes of added time to send Gillingham crashing to a fifth successive defeat.

Recalled former Crawley goalkeeper Glenn Morris made a smart early save by turning a shot from Ade Adeyemo around the post.

Crawley captain Jay Williams shot wide of Morris' left-hand post before Gills striker Ronan Hale was off target from the edge of the area.

The Red Devils were then indebted to veteran defender Scott Malone, who cleared a header from Joshua Andrews off the line.

Kazim-Richards attempted to freshen up his front line by making a triple substitution with 16 minutes remaining.

Taylor, one of the changes, struck to break the deadlock in the first minute of stoppage time with a low shot from the edge of the area.

Adeyemo, on his first start for the club, sealed victory by rifling an effort off a post two minutes later.
