Manchester United are poised to part ways with midfielder Casemiro when his contract concludes this summer.

The Brazilian’s departure has already been confirmed by the club. They have no plans to change their decision despite his brilliant Premier League form over the last two months.

ESPN now claim that Casemiro prefers to continue in one of Europe’s top leagues next term, but there is significant interest from Major League Soccer through Inter Miami and Los Angeles Galaxy.

Both clubs have filled their designated-player quotas and may have to make room for Casemiro.

The experienced midfielder is also on the radar of Saudi Pro League giants Al-Ittihad, who consider him as a potential replacement for Fabinho, whose contract expires this summer.

The 34-year-old has been a vital figure in United’s push for Champions League football since the turn of the year. He has been hugely involved with seven goals and two assists in the league season.

Casemiro is no longer in the prime of his career, but he has still fared well defensively. The £70 million signing has won five duels and 2.4 tackles per appearance with four recoveries.
