Manchester United Transfer News: Manchester United are keeping a close eye on Benfica defender Samuel Dahl as a top target to fix their issues at left-back this summer. According to journalist Ekrem Konur, the Swedish international has become a mainstay in Lisbon, quickly earning a starting spot under José Mourinho. Mourinho himself has been vocal about Dahl’s growth, calling him magnificent and praising his reliability, noting that the young defender has barely missed a minute for the Eagles recently.

After moving from AS Roma in early 2025, initially on loan before making the switch permanent, Dahl adjusted to the speed of Portuguese football almost instantly.
