Arsenal are plotting a swoop to sign Spanish left winger Jesus Rodríguez from Como next summer, according to Sports Boom.
The 20-year-old came through the ranks at Real Betis academy before making his first-team debut for the Andalusian outfit in the 6-1 Copa del Rey win over CD Gévora on 31 October 2024.
He remained part of Manuel Pellegrini’s first team, featuring in 32 games across all competitions, and was part of the Betis squad that faced Chelsea in the UEFA Conference League final.
In a bid to secure regular playing time, the left winger agreed to join Como and has since been a revelation in Italy, providing 11 goal contributions in all competitions and playing a key role in Cesc Fabregas’ side’s ambitious European pursuit this season.
According to Sports Boom, Rodriguez’s performances have caught the attention of several Premier League and European clubs, including Arsenal.
The report adds that the Gunners’ board view the Spaniard as a viable option to add depth and competition to the flanks alongside Gabriel Martinelli and Bukayo Saka.
