Liverpool suffered a demoralising and costly defeat away at bottom-of-the-table Wolves on Tuesday night, with the decisive blow coming in stoppage time.

The Reds had fallen behind with 12 minutes remaining, but looked set to salvage something after Mohamed Salah levelled the score with seven minutes of regular time left. However, having already surrendered points late on multiple times this season, they succumbed to a deflected 94th-minute winner from Andre, ultimately losing 2-1 at Molineux.

Chasing a fourth consecutive top-flight victory, Liverpool had the chance to draw level with Manchester United and Aston Villa on 51 points.
