Pep Guardiola has been in charge at Manchester City for ten years, although the Spaniard is likely to bow out at the end of the 2024/25 campaign.

The former Barcelona and Bayern Munich manager has been a raging success at the Etihad Stadium. He has guided City to six Premier League titles including a run of four consecutive wins.

There was also a Champions League success in 2022-23 after previously being runner-up in 2020-21 when losing to Chelsea. There have been two FA Cup successes and four League Cup victories.

It appears as though Enzo Maresca is waiting in the wings. The bookies have the Italian as the odds-on favourite to take charge at the north-west club this summer.

Maresca was sacked as Chelsea FC manager on New Year’s Day after a supposed fall-out with the club’s owners. It’s been reported that the 46-year-old had held private talks with Manchester City and that ultimately led to him walking away from Stamford Bridge.
