Chelsea is expected to sign the Argentine midfielder Valentin Barco at the end of the season.
According to a report from TYC Sports, the former Boca Juniors player is expected to join the London club in the coming months. Although the transfer has yet to be completed and some details remain pending, a contractual agreement is already in place between Chelsea and the player.
The close relationship between the Premier League club and Strasbourg, due to their shared ownership group, is the main reason the deal is likely to go through. Meanwhile, Barco will reunite with his former manager, Liam Rosenior, at Chelsea.
