Kieran Morrison scored twice as Liverpool secured an impressive Premier League 2 win over Tottenham Hotspur to move within two points of the top of the table.

Morrison's brace sandwiched a header from debutant Prince Cisse and a superb solo effort from summer signing Will Wright as Rob Page's side won 4-2 at a wind-swept Academy at Kirkby on Sunday afternoon.

The 19-year-old winger, who was on the bench for the first team last weekend at Nottingham Forest, now has 14 goals for the season with 10 coming in his last six Premier League 2 outings.
