Arsenal scouts are keeping a close eye on Cagliari full-back Marco Palestra, according to journalist Nico Schira.

The North London club are assessing options at right-back as they plan ahead for next season. There remains some doubt over Ben White’s long-term role, which has sparked fresh checks on alternatives.

Palestra is the latest name to enter the frame as Arsenal review possible additions in that area.

The young defender is currently on loan at Cagliari from Atalanta and has made a steady impression in Serie A. He has already featured 26 times this campaign.
