André Onana initially lost his place in Manchester United’s starting XI to Altay Bayındır at the start of the season.

The goalkeeper dropped further down the pecking order with Senne Lammens’ arrival at Old Trafford from Royal Antwerp on summer deadline day. Manchester United then let him Onana join Trabzonspor on a season-long loan deal.
