Scott McTominay's wages at Napoli aren't as big as many might expect, though this could change in the not-too-distant future. The ex-Manchester United midfielder said farewell to Old Trafford in 2024 for a fresh start in Italy. He penned a four-year contract with Napoli following a £25.7million transfer and swiftly became a fan favourite at the club. In his inaugural season, he clinched the Serie A title, netting 13 goals and providing 6 assists, earning him the league's player of the year (MVP) accolade.

With 14 goal contributions already this campaign, McTominay's form has sparked discussions about a new contract at Napoli. At present, the 29-year-old earns approximately £90,000 weekly, a surprisingly modest sum considering his impact at the club, albeit reflective of his standing upon arrival. This salary is poised to rise significantly if he renegotiates a deal with the Italian side, something reportedly already under consideration.

Reports suggest that McTominay's agent, Colin Murdock, has met with Napoli's management to discuss extending the Scot's contract. It's understood that a deal lasting until 2030, with an option for an additional year, is anticipated.
