Man United fans are looking at a massive shake-up in the heart of the squad. The Old Trafford board is ready to drop £142.5 million to rebuild the midfield completely. New reports from Sky Germany via TEAMtalk say United have locked onto Felix Nmecha as a top target. The plan is to pair him with Nottingham Forest’s breakout star Elliot Anderson.

Anderson comes with a massive £90 million price tag because he’s homegrown and playing the best football of his career. Even so, chasing Nmecha shows United wants more size and power. They are looking for that specific ball-carrying style you usually see in German-coached teams. Borussia Dortmund usually let their big stars go if the price is right.

It looks like £52.5 million would be enough to get the six-capped Germany international to the Premier League. This aggressive move comes as Casemiro prepares to leave and Manuel Ugarte struggles to find his footing. United clearly feel they need to blow up and rebuild their defensive and creative setup.
