A dedicated Rangers fan has pleaded with his wife for Ibrox tickets after she won a £125,000 Postcode Lottery windfall. Barry Stewart, 45, and his wife Katie, 36, were left gobsmacked when they found out she'd won a share of a £1 million prize.

The overjoyed parents say the money has opened up a world of opportunities – from upgrading their home to dream holidays. However, ardent Gers supporter Barry is hoping to add more Rangers home games and even a European away day to the wish list.

Barry, a father from Burghead in Moray, revealed: "This has changed our life, it honestly has. I could have more trips to see Rangers. Maybe even a European away day."

Katie quickly retorted: "Here we go. I was waiting for him to say a Rangers season ticket, which is an absolute no."

The newlyweds, who have four children, recently celebrated the ninth birthday of their youngest, Sienna. They only got married a few months ago, having prioritised settling into a family home first, reports the Daily Record.
