Tottenham Hotspur could make a move for a former Man United midfielder in the summer, but a deal will be difficult for the Lilywhites to complete.

Spurs strengthened their midfield with the addition of Conor Gallagher in January, and the former Chelsea man has made a bright start to his time in North London.

However, reports indicate that Tottenham were also exploring adding another progressive midfielder to their squad in January, and having failed to sign such a player, one would expect the club to prioritise that in the summer.
