Scott McTominay has acquired a legend-like status in Naples since his arrival from Manchester United. As Napoli are attempting to hand him a new contract, a threat is apparently emerging from Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal.
After a slow start to the season, the Scotsman has picked up form. He now has nine goals across all competitions, racking up four assists too.
McTominay also played deeper in midfield due to an injury crisis. That has showcased his value to Antonio Conte’s side, even when he isn’t scoring as much.
AreaNapoli report that clubs in England are keeping an eye on his situation. Arsenal and Tottenham, specifically, are presented as being interested.
Any move will be difficult. This is because Napoli have scheduled talks over a renewal and discussions will take place at the end of the season.
