Manchester United have significantly improved their attacking output this season after a dismal run in front of goal last campaign. The Red Devils finished the 2024/25 season with just 44 goals in 38 Premier League games.

INEOS invested over £200 million in Benjamin Sesko, Bryan Mbeumo and Matheus Cunha over the summer, and the English giants have subsequently been outstanding in the final third. United have already scored 44 goals in 24 Premier League games this season, the third most in the top tier of English football after Manchester City (49) and Arsenal (46).

The Red Devils are expected to turn their focus to the midfield this summer, with Casemiro set to leave and Manuel Ugarte’s future hanging in the balance. The Brazilian has been indispensable for United of late and they are likely to prioritise a proper replacement before the start of the next season.

However, a fresh update suggests that the Red Devils could also make a move for a Premier League forward at the end of this season should the opportunity arise.
