Tottenham Hotspur were keen on signing West Ham United’s Crysencio Summerville in the winter market.

That’s according to Voetbal International, who cover efforts put in by Tottenham to sign the West Ham player.

On January 16th, we covered claims from Turkey that Galatasaray had identified the West Ham winger as a target.

VI now make no mention of the Turkish club and focus only on Tottenham and AS Roma. The latter also had the 24-year-old on their agenda in the recently concluded window.

West Ham signed the Dutchman from Leeds United in August 2024. He finished his debut season with a goal and two assists from 22 matches. A hamstring injury in January 2025 forced him to miss the rest of last season.

Summerville has scored four goals and contributed four assists from 20 matches for West Ham. His four goals for Nuno Espírito Santo’s side were in their last four matches, including one in their league win over Tottenham.

His performances for West Ham had caught the attention of Thomas Frank’s side and the Giallorossi. The two clubs ‘attempted to pry’ the winger from the Hammers in the recent window.
