Sky Sports News' Gary Cotterill assesses Arsenal's transfer window.

Going into the window, the feeling was Arsenal were going to be quiet. And so it proved.

They did their business in the summer - and were only likely to dip into the market if a long-term target or unique market opportunity presented itself.

Manager Mikel Arteta maintained they would be alive and alert.
