Arsenal have seen recent reports linking them with Sandro Tonali firmly dismissed by a trusted source. The claims have been described as wide of the mark and not based on any real talks.

However, journalist Luke Edwards of The Telegraph has moved to shut down the rumours. He stated that suggestions of Arsenal pushing for Tonali are simply not true.

This talk followed injury worries inside Mikel Arteta’s midfield group. However, the situation has now been made clear by reliable voices close to the matter.

Tonali links dismissed

Tonali joined Newcastle from AC Milan and remains a key figure at the club. Despite recent speculation, there has been no approach or contact from Arsenal.
