The Celtic boss spoke after the game today and made things very clear. He expects the two players who were allegedly en route to Glasgow last night to sign. Both are undergoing medicals and those deals should be completed.

He also talked about one or two others coming in.

If that happens, then Martin has succeeded in wrangling this board in a way few others ever have. In truth, what choice did they have? They got it tight today at Celtic Park and the board deserved every bit of criticism that came their way.

That pressure is not going away.

This squad needs bodies and it needs players who can contribute. It is already obvious that Arajuo is a major upgrade at right-back. It is also clear that the big striker gives us a new dimension in attack.

If the two new signings prove even half-decent, we will find ourselves in a much stronger position. Rotation alone would be a huge bonus, and that could give us a genuine chance to press on and win this league.

Tomorrow I will look at the opposition, who floundered today, and I may even take an early swipe at an idiotic journalist...
