Tomorrow, the January (Winter) transfer window will, finally, slam shut in what I expect to be a flurry of activity.

Clubs, all around the country, will be preparing to do business, eager not to miss out on the action.

Yesterday, although it was a match day, two bits of transfer business were at the forefront of news related to our club.

Firstly, as predicted in the article – rumour-control-31st-january – the Hatters confirmed the signing of Devante Cole, from Port Vale.

The deal for the 30-year-old striker being for an undisclosed fee, the usual scenario for the Hatters these days.

Cole, this season, has scored 6 league goals for Port Vale and talking about the signing of Devante, as reported by – The BBC – had Jack Wilshere purring:
