Over the weekend, I ran an article imploring you not to always believe what you read.

The article – not-all-that-you-read-is-true – covered some random claims relating to the future of Liam Walsh, the claims, to me, highlighted all that is wrong with social media.

Today, I would like to discuss something else that has its roots in social media.

Looking forward to our trip to Wembley, to take on Stockport County, in the Vertu Trophy Final, on 12-April, from what I can gather, Luton Town have sold in excess of 30,000 tickets for the game, with every possibility that the remaining 5,000+ tickets could be sold before the game takes place, a marvellous achievement, in my opinion, for a club of our stature.

Previously, I have pleaded with those who feel our place in the final is tainted, courtesy of the Swindon Town debacle, to ignore the claims by pointing out that Luton Town did nothing wrong, it was not us that transgressed the rules.

Also, I get the feeling that the Luton Town support always, willingly, grasp the opportunity to see the Hatters play at Wembley, like I have said before, you never know when...
