Manchester United have been given a boost as Oliver Glasner has announced he’ll be leaving Crystal Palace at the end of the season, but Gareth Southgate is another name on their list of manager targets.

Man Utd will surely see yesterday’s announcement by Glasner as a boost to their hopes of hiring him, but the Daily Mirror report that Southgate also remains one of the candidates for the job.

Still, the former England manager was also previously linked with the Red Devils back in October, and the Mirror said at the time that he was leaning towards rejecting their interest.

Southgate was not in a hurry to return to football management at that time, but it remains to be seen if his stance may have changed since then.
