Swansea City boss Vitor Matos has refused to rule out the possibility of moving for a striker in January.

However, he insists his main focus at the moment is to get the best out of the options already at his disposal.

Matos recently confirmed he expects summer signing Adam Idah to be sidelined for the next three months following his recent hamstring injury, a blow that has sparked suggestions that a striker might possibly be on the agenda for the Swans this month.

The Swans boss says he's open to potential additions, but says he's also more than happy to work to get the best out of the players in the building, including top scorer Zan Vipotnik.

"It's an opinion," he said when asked if he agreed with suggestions a new striker should be on the January wishlist.

"I think what we need is to use Vipi in the best way, I think he's been unbelievable in terms of effort and in terms of outcome.
