Morgan Rogers is expected to sign a new contract with Aston Villa.

The forward last agreed to fresh terms in November 2024, less than a year ago, committing his future to the club until 2030.

However, Villa have moved to reward him for his progress since joining from Middlesbrough in January 2024.

The Athletic now report that an agreement has been reached between the club and the player on a new deal, which will be valid until 2031.

Rogers’ salary is set to be significantly increased to reflect his growing importance within the Villa squad.

Over the summer, Villa handed out new contracts to Tyrone Mings, Boubacar Kamara, and Lucas Digne, before negotiating extensions for Matty Cash and John McGinn.

Midfielders Youri Tielemans and Emi Buendia will enter the final 12 months of their deals next summer, meaning the club will need to work on securing their futures.
