Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has opened up on his frustration at finding his game-time limited at Liverpool and he shared his heartbreak at once being dropped from Jurgen Klopp’s matchday squad on the day of a cup final. The midfielder, who is currently a free agent after his Besiktas contract was determined in the summer, left the Reds when his deal expired in the summer of 2023.

A £35m signing from Arsenal in the summer of 2017, he made 146 appearances during his six years at Anfield as he scored 18 goals and returned 13 assists.

Meanwhile, he was a member of the side that won the Premier League, Champions League, FIFA Club World Cup, European Super Cup and League Cup during his six years at Anfield.
