Brentford boss Keith Andrews believes Newcastle United paid a 'really good fee' for a 'really good player' in Yoane Wissa.

But he insists the Bees came out of the situation 'well' after his £55million move to Newcastle was confirmed on transfer deadline day.

The Magpies spent all summer chasing the 29-year-old's signature and the two clubs eventually agreed on a fee in the dying embers of the transfer window.

However, Wissa then picked up a knee injury while on international duty with DR Congo in September and he is yet to kick a ball for Eddie Howe's side this season.
