Despite successfully silencing Brazilian superstar Vinicius Jr in Liverpool's Champions League victory over Real Madrid, Conor Bradley failed to impress Roy Keane. The former Manchester United captain criticised Bradley's offensive capabilities despite his solid defensive performance as Northern Ireland's captain at Anfield.

Bradley won two-thirds of his duels and stood firm against Vinicius, mirroring his dominant performance against Kylian Mbappe in the same fixture last season, which earned him widespread acclaim. Ian Wright, speaking on the Stick To Football podcast, praised Bradley, saying: "That's why you want to see him up against a winger like that, because that then takes him to another place. He did everything last night. He was fantastic to watch."

Keane responded with: "Yeah, defensively," and added, "But he lacks that, picking out that final pass. He got into good positions last night. You're still looking for that."

Wright defended Bradley, replying: "He did the main job, what he needed to do last night," and "To stop him. You know what I mean?"

However, Keane remained unimpressed, retorting: "We sit here every week talking about the modern football back. It's not just about defending....
