Aston Villa’s Ezri Konsa has emerged as a new target for Inter Milan.

That’s what L’Interista are reporting, and they cover the Serie A side’s interest in the centre-back.

Konsa joined Aston Villa from Brentford in July 2019 and has been a regular for the Villans since.

His displays for the Premier League side were rewarded with an England call up in March 2023. The defender has also been a regular in the Three Lions’ squad since then.

Inter Milan have taken notice of the 28-year-old’s impressive performances and have him on their agenda. They are said to be looking for a readymade, high-level centre-back and considering signing the England international.

€35m for Aston Villa player may be too low

Konsa has a contract until 2028, and the report explains Unai Emery’s side currently value him at least at €35m.

He’s a key figure at Aston Villa. Taking this and the time left on his contract, Inter may need much more than €35m to sign Konsa.

The Italian club won the title in 2023/24 season and were recently in the Champions League final. A move to the San Siro can see Konsa compete for trophies.
