Arsenal star Viktor Gyokeres has been left out of Graham Potter's first Sweden squad amid concerns over the forward's injury - but Alexander Isak has been included despite his recent absence for Liverpool.

Concerns were raised over Gyokeres' fitness by Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta on Monday after the £64m forward did not travel for their Champions League match against Slavia Prague.

It followed Gyokeres being substituted with a suspected hamstring issue during Saturday's 2-0 win over Burnley.

Arteta had confirmed that Gyokeres would undergo further tests in the coming days, adding: 'I am concerned because he hasn't had many muscular issues and he had to do the pitch and he was feeling something.

'That's obviously never a good sign, especially for a player that is very, very explosive.'

Fears have raised further after former West Ham boss Potter, announcing his first Sweden squad, confirmed Gyokeres was absent through injury and will not be available for selection for their upcoming two matches.
