Paris Saint-Germain boss Luis Enrique has named ‘the best team in Europe’ after his side were beaten in the Champions League on Tuesday.

French club PSG are the defending champions in the elite European club competition having defeated Italian side Inter Milan in the 2024-25 final.

In this season’s league phase, only two teams have won all four of their opening matches – Bayern Munich of Germany and Arsenal of England.

Bayern have scored 14 goals across their four games – three more than Arsenal – but the Gunners are yet to concede a Champions League goal.

Opta’s Champions League Supercomputer currently ranks Arsenal as the biggest favourites to win the 2025-26 trophy with a 23.92 per cent chance.
