Manchester United legend Cristiano Ronaldo has made his feelings crystal clear about manager Ruben Amorim and his words will resonate with many fans.

In a bombshell interview with Piers Morgan, Ronaldo acknowledged that Amorim is “doing his best” under extremely difficult circumstances.

He said: “He’s doing his best. What are you going to do? Miracles? Miracles is impossible.

“We say in Portugal, miracles is only in Fatim and you’re not going to do miracles.

“Even the players, Man United have good players, but they don’t have, some of them, the mind [of] what Man United is.”

Ronaldo’s blunt honesty perfectly sums up the challenge facing Amorim since taking charge in November 2024, when he inherited a team in total disarray.

Amorim still managed to guide United to the Europa League final, but the domestic campaign was a disaster.

The club finished 15th in the Premier League, their worst-ever league position.

The start to the 2025–26 season did not inspire confidence either, with United struggling for rhythm and pundits already questioning Amorim’s future.
