Tottenham Hotspur secured a 4-0 win at home against Copenhagen in the Champions League on Tuesday night as Thomas Frank’s side moved into the automatic qualification spots.

Let’s take a look at the five things we learned:

Getting a victory in the league phase of the Champions League is always a big positive given how tough the competition is.

Tottenham Hotspur secured their second win in the tournament tonight after putting four past Copenhagen, and that has taken them into seventh place at least for now.

The cherry on the cake, however, is the manner in which Spurs have gone on to secure all three points, with Frank’s side putting in a positive and creative performance.

Frank’s side has often been labelled as pragmatic, a question he had to answer in his pre-match press conference, but tonight’s display is as positive as it gets for Tottenham.

Four in a single game is the most Spurs have scored in a single match under the Dane this season, and they managed that with ten men.
