The next young gem on INEOS’ radar is Kevin Filling of AIK Fotboll. The Swede has captured their attention thanks to his displays this season in the Allsvenskan.

The 16-year-old has made two starts for AIK this term and already has two goals to his name. And naturally, his performances have started attracting the big clubs.

United entered the race first, and have been joined by the likes of Tottenham Hotspur and Aston Villa.

As per Brexit rules, the Red Devils cannot sign him until he turns 18, but they have been doing their due diligence behind the scenes.

A concrete enquiry was launched, and AIK informed they would not let their wonderkid leave for less than €5 million.

As per what The Peoples Person had relayed, INEOS were open to offering €3 million, the same as Villa.

Interestingly, United’s plan is to acquire him and loan him out to fellow INEOS-owned side FC Lausanne-Sport. A ploy they have utilised with Enzo Kana-Biyik.

Now, Kevin Filling has responded to these rumours during an interaction with Fotboll Direkt. The Sweden U18 international made it clear that for now, his focus is fully on AIK.
