The troubles of Manchester United forward Joshua Zirkzee have seemingly sunk to a new low, as his struggles for regular minutes continue.

Zirkzee has failed to build on last season’s positives, enduring a troubling start to the 2025/26 campaign.

Despite being available for all of United’s 10 Premier League fixtures this term, Zirkzee has managed a mere 82 minutes of action. He was also afforded just eight minutes in the embarrassing EFL Cup defeat at the hands of Grimsby Town.

The summer signings of attackers Matheus Cunha, Bryan Mbeumo and Benjamin Sesko have pushed Zirkzee firmly to the bottom of the pecking order at United. Zirkzee is believed to be unhappy with his situation and is even open to a January exit in a bid to get regular first-team minutes elsewhere ahead of the 2026 World Cup.

There has been no shortage of interest in the Dutchman, with the likes of AC Milan, Napoli, Juventus, West Ham, Sevilla, Real Betis and Brighton all mentioned as admirers of his.
