Our Carabao Cup quarter-final tie against Crystal Palace has been confirmed for Tuesday, December 23.

The game will be held at Emirates Stadium and kick off at 8pm. It will be broadcast live in the UK on Sky Sports and ITV.

We made it to this stage by beating Port Vale and Brighton & Hove Albion by 2-0 scorelines, while Oliver Glasner's team squeezed past neighbours Millwall on penalties before an eye-catching 3-0 success at Anfield against last season's finalists Liverpool.

It will be the sixth time we have faced Palace in the League Cup. We lost 2-0 on aggregate in 1970 before knocking the Eagles out at the semi-final stage 5-1 on aggregate when we last lifted the trophy in 1993.

We faced the Eagles at the same stage of the competition last season, when a Gabriel Jesus hat-trick helped us progress to the last four, while it was only eight days ago that we triumphed 1-0 against them in the Premier League thanks to an Ebere Eze strike against his former club.

Ticket news for the fixture will be announced in due course.
