Calvin Ramsay featured for the first time for Liverpool in over 1,000 days just last week.

The Reds’ start to the season has gone quite poorly, with four league losses on the bounce leaving many fans a little worried.

This only increased after they were knocked out of the Carabao Cup with ease against Crystal Palace, with Arne Slot giving many fringe and young players a chance.

One of these was Ramsay after a long time away from the first-team, with the Scotsman doing a fairly decent job at right-back all things considered.

However, despite this, Liverpool seem to have other plans for the right-back in the near future, with this being his chance to make a real name for himself.

Ramsay was held in very high regard when he first arrived from Aberdeen in 2021, but injuries have severely disrupted his progress.

Now 22, it is getting to the point where it feels like make or break for him at Liverpool, with Under-21s manager Rob Page confirming that their plan is to now loan him out in search of valuable minutes.
