Sheffield Wednesday have the worst defence in the Championship, but that defence stood strong against West Brom as they brought home a well-earned point.

The Owls haven’t had the easiest time keeping the ball out of their net this season. Before their trip to West Brom on Saturday, they’d kept just one clean sheet and conceded 25 league goals – the most of any Championship team.

However, the Owls managed to prevent the Baggies thanks to some excellent displays by the goalkeeper and the back three.

After getting sent off against Charlton Athletic, Ethan Horvath made his return in between the sticks for the Owls. He was available for the game against Oxford United but was on the bench as fellow emergency loan goalkeeper Joe Lumley started.

There have been question marks over some of the Americans’ performances, but against West Brom, he was fantastic. He picked up the Sofascore Man of the Match with a rating of 8.6.

Horvath made a total of seven saves against WBA, preventing 0.97 goals and helping the Owls to their second Championship clean sheet.
