Erik ten Hag is reportedly being looked at by Wolves as they search for their next manager. The struggling Premier League club, currently sat at the bottom of the table, are hunting for Vitor Pereira's replacement after sacking him on Sunday - with Ten Hag now emerging as an unexpected contender.

Pereira's fate was sealed following Saturday's crushing 3-0 defeat to Fulham, bringing an abrupt end to his tenure just weeks after he signed a new three-year deal. The Portuguese boss had only arrived in December 2024 to take over from Gary O'Neil - who is now also in discussions about a sensational comeback.

O'Neil, currently without a club, is in active negotiations with Wolves about returning to the dugout he occupied for 16 months. However, The Athletic understands that the Molineux hierarchy are exploring alternative appointments, with Ten Hag amongst those under consideration following his availability after being dismissed by Bayer Leverkusen.
