Swansea City are waiting on the news as to the impact of a potential quadriceps injury with striker Zān Vipotnik pulling out of training before the away game at Charlton on Saturday. (1-1) We have managed to get an update on the current situation with Zân.

We have been told that it was initially cautionary for the Slovenian to be withdrawn but he has had certain symptoms when walking accompanied by tenderness in the affected area. That means a qualified opinion will be with the Swans this afternoon. This after a more in-depth scan as the full extent of the injury is required by the clubs medical team. Matt Murray who is a soft tissue specialist at the Swans will have already examined Zān thoroughly within his role and identified the key issues he has diagnosed. Zân utilises his lower muscle groups to allow him to compete pace wise and indeed to unleash his rocket shots as we have seen this season.
