TBR Football understands that West Ham United will not allow England international Jarrod Bowen to leave in January – which could scupper any plans of Tottenham’s to bring him in.

Jarrod Bowen has been West Ham’s top goalscorer in the Premier League in each of the past four seasons, becoming club captain at the start of last season, and he remains only nine goals behind Michail Antonio in their all-time top goalscorers list in the Premier League.

Bowen is by far their most influential star, and interested clubs will know how important he is to their short-term plans to jump out of the bottom three, as well as long-term as an ambassador.

And that has seen the Hammers adopt a ‘not for sale’ stance on their skipper, despite interest from Tottenham, with Nuno Espirito Santo needing all the help he can get to keep them in the league.
