Tottenham striker Dominic Solanke has been sidelined after suffering an ankle injury in August and had to undergo surgery for the same. He is currently under rehabilitation and is set to make his return after the international break in November. In light of his injury, Spurs signed French striker Randal Kolo Muani for a season-long loan from PSG.

Spurs acquired Solanke for £55 million (additional £10 million add-ons) from AFC Bournemouth in 2024. The English forward has scored nine goals and provided three assists last season, and proved himself to be a valuable asset for the club. He also helped his team clinch the Europa League trophy last season. However, the 28-year-old has yet to unlock his full potential at the club. With new manager Thomas Frank looking to strengthen the squad and bring in fresh signings, it remains to be seen how Solanke competes for the starting role alongside Richarlison and Kolo Muani.

Solanke has shown great promise and impressed both fans and critics with his performances for the club so far, making it unlikely that the Lilywhites would consider selling the Brit anytime soon.
