Dave Milton believes the Wolves ownership has made the right decision

Wolves fans have suggested the only surprise over the sacking of head coach Vitor Pereira was that it did not come sooner.

Sunday's dismissal came less than 24 hours after Wolves suffered a 3-0 defeat at Fulham, continuing the club's disastrous start to the Premier League season.

The results have left the club bottom of the table and still searching for its first league win.

Travelling supporters expressed their anger towards Pereira and the club's Chinese ownership and fans outside Wolves' Molineux Stadium on Sunday were not shocked by the morning's developments.

Anna-Maria Mcauliffe said she thought the sacking would have come sooner after Wolves' 3-2 defeat at home to Burnley last week.

"[With] the team he picked and the way he performed [on Saturday against Fulham] it was no surprise at all," she said.
