Unless there have been any further unwanted developments, Everton should have every player available for the visit to the Premier League's surprise package bar Jarrad Branthwaite and Nathan Patterson.

So the questioning could well focus on whether Moyes is planning to freshen up his starting line-up after the 3-0 home loss to Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday made it just one win in seven games for his side.

That run of form has left the Blues down in 14th. Sunderland, in contrast, are riding high in fourth after an impressive start to life back in the top flight.
