Aston Villa head to Liverpool this weekend targeting their first win at Anfield in 13 years.

Arne Slot’s Reds come into the game having lost six of their last seven matches, including their last two in a row, although wholesale changes were made for their midweek Carabao Cup tie against Crystal Palace.

Villa, meanwhile, have won their last four league games - against Fulham, Burnley, Tottenham and Manchester City - claiming victories in six of their last seven matches across all competitions.

However, Villa have won just one of their 30 Premier League away games against reigning champions, that victory coming in a 1-0 win over Manchester United at Old Trafford in December 2009.

Opponents Liverpool will be desperate to avoid losing five consecutive league matches for the first time since September 1953. They are also the first side in English top-flight history to win their first five matches of a season and then lose each of their next four.
